Rear End Collision on 2011 Chevy Camaro SS

We got this gorgeous 2011 Chevy Camaro SS after it was rear ended on the right side. At first glance it seemed like a relatively normal hit, a little damage to the quarter panel, new bumper, nothing too crazy. Once the tear down started the fun began. The rear body panel was crushed on the right side. The right quarter panel was significantly more damaged than it seemed.  We had to re weld the outer wheelhouse, spend a good amount of time repairing the quarter panel, replace all the taillights and bezels on the right side, replace the bumper as well as all the rear sensors in it and repaired the floor pan.  It was a hefty job, but it came out looking brand new.

After a few weeks the customer got his car back looking brand new. Another one back on the road.

1970 Dodge Challenger Full Restoration

It’s been a while since our last post. We’ve been busy at work with a few big projects and the normal insurance stuff. Our first of the new projects we’ll post is the full restoration of a 1970 Dodge Challenger. It was brought to us the owners nephews convinced him that it was time to get it cleaned up. It had a lot of time hanging out in the backyard so there was a lot of work to be done. The car received a full body restoration. Panels were replaced where needed but for the most part we tried to keep everything original. The owner went with the original Dodge Challenger Orange and it was a great choice.

There was a lot of labor love from us and a lot of patience from the owner but in the end the Challenger came out beautifully. The paint glistened in the sun, the chrome sparkled and the owner left with a smile. We’ll have some of the other projects uploaded shortly.

Pearl White FR-S

Brought to us with just 6,000 miles on it, this FR-S had the front bumper and left fender damaged pretty good. Once we got it in we replaced the bumper with an OEM bumper since the original was cracked beyond repair, replaced the left headlight, threw on a new fender and replaced and welded in a few small pieces of the radiator support. To make sure the color was perfect we blended the left door, the hood and even the right fender (so there is no discoloration with the new bumper).

All in all the car came out great. The color was flawless and everything looked as good as it did in the showroom.

Side Damage on Jaguar XF

A while back we had a customer bring us their brand new Jaguar XF. Sadly the car had serious side damage to the whole right side. We had to replace the majority of the side, new right rear door, new right front door. We also replaced the rear bumper, repaired the right quarter and blended the necessary panels (right fender and outer roof rail).

After a grueling month or so the car was back to its pristine look. It took a while but in the end it was all worth it.

Quarter Panel Damage on G35

This G35 was brought us with some good damage to the left quarter and the rear bumper. The job wasn’t to hard. We pulled and repaired the quarter panel and put on a new reconditioned bumper. A little more body work to make sure all the lines were perfect and then some paint.

The car came out looking great. You would never have guessed that there was a beach ball sized impact to the quarter panel.
